... how to get good desserts at Odd Friday. Simply announce that a pickle pie will be served! We had:

Key lime pie (I made but didn't even cut into)
brownies (mhat)
Kaluah cream with strawberries (oliana0)
rosemary apple pie (Joe)
kirch cupcakes (silona)

I would like to say here that BOTH pregnant women who came sampled the pickle pie. Yay! and the candied cucumber.

Pickeled things included:
lemons
mango
cabbage
tea
cheese

Good Odd Friday, thank you! Even if lots of people ran off to do the dance on the bridge thing - I couldn't join, bah. I liked it when I could more easily leave Odd Friday on jaunts (ie, pre-children).

guns and pychoactive drugs. Um. Discussed, not used.

Your argument that pregnant women were willing to sample pickle pie really doesn't do much to defend the pickle pie, what with hormonal cravings and all.

uterine occupancy aside, it WAS tasty. if it weren't for SEEING sliced dill, i wouldn't have thought "pickle" at all while eating it.

rhubarby was a good description. i've always been fond of rhubarb, anyway.
